The Restful Homes Group is a family run care home group that was established in 1991.and is committed to providing the highest quality of care in luxurious and homely environments.

With the opening of their new care centres in Birmingham they now provide care for up to 650 residents in their care homes and are currently constructing a further 2 care centres. They aim to be the premier providers of quality care throughout the Midlands and South of England.

The aims and objectives of the Restful Homes Group are to provide the highest possible quality of person-centred care to each of their residents. They offer flexible and responsive care that meets all the needs of their residents and not simply focus on their medical needs alone. They provide this care in a secure, relaxed, spacious and homely environment in which the care, happiness and comfort of their residents is paramount. Each of their residents is treated with respect and sensitivity to their individual needs and abilities in an open and caring environment.

Their staff is well trained, professional, kind and caring and will strive to preserve and maintain the dignity, individuality and privacy of all their residents within a calm and loving environment. Staff is sensitive to the residents' ever changing needs. These needs may be medical, therapeutic, cultural, psychological, spiritual, emotional and social. Their residents are strongly encouraged to participate in the development and updating of their individualised plan of care in which the involvement of family and friends may be appropriate and is greatly valued.

They compile a detailed biography of each resident so that they can build their care around their individual needs, preferences and wishes whilst focusing on the abilities they have retained rather than the disabilities they have attained. They never adopt a 'one size fits all' approach and will deliver care that is responsive rather than prescriptive. They will provide a varied and comprehensive programme of activities that is tailored to the wishes and abilities of their residents. They will continually monitor their service through consultation with residents and their relatives, along with visiting professionals to ensure that they are meeting both their objectives and their residents' needs.
