From longstanding involvement in the manufacture of high quality Mobility Vehicles starting in 1983. Horizon Mobility was born and developed into the largest independent manufacturer of mobility scooters in the United Kingdom.

Their Vehicles and wheelchairs are proud to fly the flag as true British products. In 1996 Horizon Mobility felt that the best way to provide an unrivalled service to the users of their product was to deal direct with them on a personal basis, to this end a network of highly trained Mobility Advisors were employed to cover the entire country. Alongside a full support team of Horizon Mobility engineers and installers, that cover the whole of the UK providing swift specialist help in the unlikely event of problems.

The company has become the single largest supplier of goods and service of Mobility products to Motability, the government-sponsored scheme, accounting for nearly 20% of the entire Motability market in 2000. The company is certified as an IS0 9001-2000 manufacturer, ensuring quality products, meeting all requirements as laid down by the governments Medical Devices Agency.
